प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज मन की बात की। इसमें उन्‍होंने झारखंड के बिशुनपुर का जिक्र किया। प्रधानमंत्री ने बताया कि कैसे यहां के लोग लेमन ग्रास की खेती कर आत्‍मनिर्भर बन रहे हैं। उन्‍होंने बताया कि बिशुनपुर इलाके में 30 से अधिक समूह मिलकर लेमन ग्रास की खेती से जुड़ हुए हैं और अपना जीवन स्‍तर सुधार रहे हैं। झारखंड के गुमला जिले के बिशुनपुर में लाेग लेमन ग्रास की खेती करते हैं। लेमन ग्रास एक औषधीय पाैधा है। इसका इस्‍तेमाल मेडिसिन, कॉस्मेटिक व डिटरजेंट में किया जाता है।

पीएम मोदी ने बताया कि यह लेमन ग्रास चार म‍हीनों में तैयार हो जाता है। इस लेमन ग्रास से तेल बनाया जाता है और यह बाजार में ऊंची कीमत पर बिकता है। इसकी बाजार में काफी मांग भी है। उन्‍होंने आम लोगों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि लोग आत्‍मनिर्भर बनें। उन्‍होंने कहा कि सही अवसर से आपदा काे अवसर में बदलने में बहुत मदद मिलती है। उन्‍होंने कोरोना वायरस से बचाव के लिए मास्‍क-गमछा का प्रयोग करने और दो गज की दूरी अपनाने की अपील की।
